Move now, pay later

Move in now.
Pay the deposit later.

The hardest part of renting abroad isn’t the rent — it’s finding a deposit plus the first month, all at once, before you’ve even moved. Movely pays the landlord upfront and lets you repay in instalments, so an empty bank balance stops being the reason you can’t move.

The real barrier

The deposit is why the move stalls.

Deposit plus first month can mean two to three months’ rent due on day one.

Your money is often tied up in the move itself — flights, shipping, setup.

You lose good apartments simply because you can’t pay everything at once, today.

How it works

Four steps to move in sooner.

Step 1

Check eligibility

Apply with your rent, income and move details. We score your profile in a few steps.

Step 2

We pay the landlord

Once approved, Movely pays the deposit and first rent to the landlord in full, upfront.

Step 3

You move in

You sign and move in without finding the whole lump sum yourself.

Step 4

You repay in instalments

You pay Movely back over a set number of months. Our fee depends on your score.

Two ways to use it

Pick what fits your move.

Spread the costs Instalments

Move in now and repay the deposit and first rent over several months, instead of all at once.

  • Movely pays the landlord upfront
  • Repay over a set number of months

A real example

How it works, in numbers.

The apartment is €1,800 / month. To move in, the landlord wants €3,600 upfront — a €1,800 deposit plus the €1,800 first month. Right now you don’t have it.

Movely + Credit Partner pays for you

We transfer the full amount to the landlord. They receive everything at once, exactly as they normally would.

€3,600 → to the landlord, on day one

You move in today

Instead of finding €3,600 on move-in day, you pay only your first monthly instalment.

€624 today · instead of €3,600

You repay over 6 months

You pay the €3,600 back at €600/month, plus a 4% service fee (€144) split as €24/month.

FAQ

Common questions.

There is no fixed percentage. Our commission depends on your Movely score — a quick assessment of your income and profile. Checking your eligibility is free, and the exact rate is confirmed before you commit to anything.
Movely does. Once you are approved, we pay the deposit and first rent to the landlord in full, upfront. You then repay Movely in instalments.
Nothing extra. The landlord receives the full amount on day one, from Movely, and carries no financing or repayment risk. For them it looks like a tenant who simply paid in full.
Checking is free and there is no obligation. If we can’t cover your move, you simply pay nothing and nothing changes — and we may be able to suggest another Movely option.
It is a way to spread the upfront cost of moving in. An application is not an offer of credit; the exact terms are confirmed after review, and you are never committed just by checking your eligibility.
